Product Description

Light Guard Pulse™ by Elecsys International (a Lindsay Company) is an advanced, pedestal-based system designed to remotely monitor and control street lighting infrastructure while preventing copper wire theft. Unlike traditional solutions that require hardware on every light, Light Guard Pulse manages up to six lighting circuits—and hundreds of lights—through a single unit, minimizing installation time, cost, and disruption.

The system is compatible with LED, HPS, and mixed lighting types, allowing seamless integration with existing infrastructure. It uses cellular communication (Verizon or AT&T) for independent, gateway-free operation, and includes backup battery power to ensure continued monitoring during outages or tampering events.

Key components include an incoming AC sensor to detect power loss, current transformers (CT coils) to monitor real-time circuit performance, and terminals for optional sensors such as door alarms. All data is managed through a secure web-based platform that enables remote circuit control, schedule customization, and real-time alerting for power disruptions, outages, or unauthorized access.

By providing continuous oversight of streetlight health and electrical integrity, Light Guard Pulse delivers smarter, more efficient lighting management and proactive theft prevention—all without the need for physical site visits or manual inspections.
